Description: Servants will join forces to "Seize the City of Buffalo for Christ". Participants will spread the love of Christ by helping to lead a community VBS for inner city children. Additional opportunities may be available and include working to provide a home for a Lutheran Church and Family Life Center, providing service at city agencies which serve the community and extending invitations to families to connect with a local church family. What a great opportunity for your group to help to bring the love of Christ to many who don't know it!

Recreational and athletic opportunities include our waterfront area for swimming, paddle boating, sailing, and canoeing, numerous court games, including shuffleboard, tennis, basketball, and volleyball. Salvation Army Bell Ringing for Youth
Mark the dates for bell ringing – December 4 from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. (Note the time change from the Torch. This annual project helps the Salvation Army to “GO out to share His love” in ways
that most of us will never have the opportunity to do. YOU also have the opportunity to "GO" simply by ringing the bells, wishing a "Merry Christmas" or our REAL OBJECTIVE: "God Bless You!"
This year we will be at Gayton Crossing and East Ridge.

Middle School youth need a parent chaperone, High School youth can ring with a buddy or alone if you've got it in you. Sign up at the Youth Communications Center in the lower narthex.

Youth Are the Church of Tomorrow and Today --
What Might the Future of the Church Look Like?

Middle and High School Youth are encouraged to join us at Tending the Flame on July 30, 31, and August 1. If you’re not going to the National Youth Gathering, you MUST (by “must” we mean “really, really should”) consider attending. If you ARE going to National, you’ll want to keep the spiritual momentum going! The youth budget will pick up all registration cost, but meals are on your own. Check out this link for more information: www.se.lcms.org. Sign up today!

Love Your Neighbor - With a LASER BEAM

Please join us for an afternoon of food, fellowship and zapping one another in the dark – all in the name of good clean fun. Oh yes, and we’ll be ZAPPING the middle school youth from Redeemer Lutheran. Join us on Sunday, March 14 beginning at Noon. We’ll meet in the Room 100 as soon as the 11:00 worship service is over. The cost is $10 per person, which includes two game of laser tag a light lunch. Bring comfortable clothes to play in and closed toe shoes. Because of the cost to the youth budget, only one friend per Trinity youth will be permitted for this event. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION: SUNDAY, MARCH 7 IS THE DEADLINE FOR SIGNING UP. We are having significant

problems with getting youth to sign up in advance. If you’re not signed up by Sunday the 7th, you’re out of luck. To sign up, email Randy with a note that you're coming.

Serving is FUN!

Serving and Fellowship go hand in hand. Whether it is bowling with our friends with special needs, or serving to those who need a hot meal and a warm smile, SERVING bonds people together in the body of Christ. Many thanks to those who invested themselves into the lives of others in these ways.

When you're out doing your service projects, be sure and take a picture or two - so we can post them on here. (Be sure to ask first if you do so!)
